REFERENCE

This work is part of the REFERENCE series, which explores “objects that possess objects.”

It features a rock that possesses itself by having its certificate of possession embedded within. The certificate is created as an NFT on the blockchain, and the password for the account holding that NFT is engraved on an iron plate, sealed inside the split rock. Through this structure, the rock is presented in a state of possessing itself.

本作は「モノを所有するモノ」を主題とするREFERENCEシリーズのひとつ「自分を所有する岩」です。

岩の所有証明書を岩自身に埋め込むことで、岩は自分自身を所有します。所有証明書はブロックチェーン上でNFTとして作成され、NFTを所有するアカウントのパスワードは鉄板に刻まれ、切断された岩の中に埋め込まれています。この構造により、岩が自分を所有している状態が表現されています。
