REFERENCE II

This work is part of the REFERENCE series, which explores “objects that possess objects.”

It features a camera that possesses itself by having its certificate of possession embedded within. The certificate is created as an NFT on the blockchain, and the password for the account holding that NFT is photographed by the camera and imprinted onto the film inside. Through this structure, the camera is presented in a state of possessing itself.

本作は「モノを所有するモノ」を主題とするREFERENCEシリーズのひとつ「自分を所有するカメラ」です。

カメラの所有証明書をカメラ自身に埋め込むことで、カメラは自分自身を所有します。所有証明書はブロックチェーン上でNFTとして作成され、NFTを所有するアカウントのパスワードはカメラで撮影され、カメラの中のフィルムに焼き付けられています。この構造により、カメラが自分を所有している状態が表現されています。
